Why am I involved with iPPSA?
iPPSA has created a level playing field for both buyers and suppliers.
A true win-win situation with COLLABORATION as its cornerstone.
The new environment is focused on best practice and will ensure
a more sustainable and ethical purchasing model.
When I first started buying print I realised I was pretty much on my own.
iPPSA will support buyers and enable them to feel that their not on their own.
No one individual should be arrogant enough to think they know all there is about print;
the secret is to know enough people who do.
iPPSA is building a community of interest that will share knowledge.
My first rule as a buyer was always make sure that the print was produced by the
right printer as economically as possible. Matching the product to the right
machine format. That’s difficult sometimes even for the most experienced buyer!
How does a less experienced buyer ensure this?
By iPPSA’s software Collaborate.
I want to be able to use software that joins up the end to end communication
process from project brief through to delivery and close by performance monitoring.
That’s COLLABORATE software
I want my print to be to a defined standard, repeatable over multiple suppliers!
Collaborate ensures total accountability to colour standards ie. ISO12647/2 and
covers that concern by using the right end to end process with suppliers who have
to prove they can on every job, not as a one off “MOT”
That’s enough reasons for me!
And there’s more……
